A Bless the Mama ceremony, surrounded by the people they feel closest to, serves as a symbolic rite of passage during this transformational part of a life journey.

Whether a first-time mama, a 3rd time, adoptive or stepparent, this experience is a grounding time to celebrate, uplift and prepare a mother-to-be for impending birth or adoption, birthing experience or transition in whatever way this is unfolding for her.
Typically celebrated in the third trimester, every ceremony is co-created in a unique and thoughtful way to celebrate the mother-to-be the way she would best like to be celebrated. In our ceremonies, we include different rituals to reflect with, create for and attend to the mother-to-be, and to fully honor her in the most meaningful ways. 

Our Bless the Mama ceremonies are compassionately and skillfully facilitated and hosted by Wellness Village NH in Manchester, NH. 

Bless the Mama ceremonies are generally non-denominational, but may reflect a spiritual or religious journey of choice; this is an open-minded, co-created and inclusive event with the mother-to-be at its center.

Is this like a traditional baby shower?
Bless the Mama ceremonies are different from a traditional baby shower as they do not focus on gift giving and the baby arriving soon. During a Bless the Mama, the future mother is the focus and all in attendance are fully present and ready to nurture her in preparation for birth.
How can I personalize the ceremony for me?
We have the ability to co-create the ceremony you desire. We know that aesthetics and themes can be a special piece to the puzzle. We have different options prepared. Our team is eager to have the space prepared in a way that will help you feel more connected, comforted and inspired. 

With different activities to choose from, our goal is to help you choose the activities that would be the most meaningful to you. Also, our add-ons are a great way to customize!
