Welcome families and doulas

Thank you for your interest in this event! Doula Meet & Greet is a free event for pregnant people and their partners to learn about and meet some of the birth and postpartum doulas on the Holistic Birth & Beyond Team. We review information on doulas, and specifics on how we can support you and your families during pregnancy, birth and parenthood. Doulas will introduce themselves, and then there is time for one-on-one conversation.

You can expect to learn a few common things about birth and postpartum doula services, such as:
  • What does a doula do?
  • What is the difference between a birth and postpartum doula?
  • What do doula services usually entail?
  • Why would I want to hire a doula?
  • How would a doula work with my partner and family?
The intention for this event is to provide the childbearing community of New Hampshire with information, evidence and options when it comes to doula care. This gathering will allow you to get to know the styles, skills and faces of our doula community. It is encouraged for you to have follow-up interviews with the doulas you may have connected well with. There is no obligation to hire anyone you meet.
Holistic Birth & Beyond typically facilitates Doula Meet & Greet events every other month.
